- 1/2 CUP diced yellow onion
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
- 3 green onions, thinly sliced (whites and greens kept separate)
- 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- Salt, to taste
For the shrimp marinade
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce .
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch .
- a pinch of white pepper.
